Weekly Wellness Workout for Union of BC Performers (Copy)


In these uncertain times, stress can have a profound impact on mental health and well-being.  As we pull together to face this current challenge, we may find ourselves falling apart, just a little, as we adapt to life during a pandemic. In this weekly “workout” actors will come together to have some fun, build resiliency skills, and learn powerful strategies for connecting to happiness even in difficult external circumstances.   Self care during this time is especially important as we find ourselves managing a higher degree of stress than usual.   Each weekly workout will include some guided mindfulness meditations, guided reflective writing, a chance to review your inner dialogue, and gentle movement.  This is your 90 minutes a week to take a mindful pause, reconnect with your inner resources,  relax, and enjoy taking part in a self care activity to psychologically strengthen you for the weeks ahead
